merry christmas, internet people. i hope everyone got what they wanted and are eating good food and having fun.
i got dragon age from my dad and let me just say that so far its awsome!!!! i only got to play for 2 hours because then my sister wanted a turn so she could play assasins creed. we never played the first one but the second one seems really neat so far, i look forward to giving it a try.
i also got a super soft robe that i have on right now, its so fluffy. and i got true blood season one. yes its nothing but sex and some bad acting but ive become addicted to it ^.^ and i also got wallace and gromet the complete collection and the dvd of the land before time. guess what ill be watching tonight if im not playing dragon age lol
i see the fiance tomorrow but i know ill be tired from staying up late playing new games and watching movies tonight. i look forward to seeing him of course, i just dont look forward to having to leave the house and getting ready and blah blah blah. it will be alot easier once we are living together

the good and the bad
so i avent been on in ages, i know. alot has happened.
so first the good news
so the fiance and i didnt get the house we were looking at. instead we are getting my grandmother's old house for very nice price. i already know where i want to put some of my tanks and the rat cage. this means not much longer until we get a german shepherd puppy. im still doing loads of research and im falling more and more in love with the breed.
now for the bad news. on monday my favorite rat died. i was going to put him down the next day but he died before i had the chance. he was the first rat i ever had and i loved him. i hope he will be reborn into my life again sometime. i will miss him alot. we went through good and bad times and we helped each other out no matter what. he was my little trouble maker and always getting into stuff. he also didnt have a fear of heights and would jump to the ground from things taller than me. he also enjoyed going to places with me and he really enjoyed eating crab legs.
but yeah. im looking forward to christmas, im getting a new rat cage and i think i may be getting a scanner but im not sure. my sister is getting a scanner and ive got a box the exact same size and shape as her's so i really think ill be getitng one. if i get one ill be able to post up my artwork online again and color it properly, though i despise coloring i really enjoy the finished product.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING
yup, happy turkey day to all you internet people out there. im currently waiting for the dishwasher to turn off so the hot water can come back so i can take a really nice hot shower. ive got to leave in an hour and a half and frankly i dont think ill be ready in time if i keep on waiting so i may just have to suck it up. i hate being cold. frankly i would much rather just stay home and starve than take a cold shower but you know how families are.
im also in a bit of a bad mood today because i may not be able to see the fiance this weekend because of poor planning of my dad's part. he refuses to do stuff during the week so now everything needs to be done on the weekend, yay.
and a random quiz of the day. i would like to point out that i have no idea why i got this result, im not social in the least

of houses and weddings
yesterday i went to a friend's weddign and took the fiance along. it was really nice and modern ina good way, not overly modern with weird art but just modern with the bold colors and the way the smashed potatos were served in martini glasses. im a potato fan so i really liked the idea. i wish i could steal it for my own wedding but i dont want to be tacky.
afterwards i spent my first night at the fiance's house. nothing happened so dont worry internet, we just slept.
in the morning we left to go and look at houses. the first one we went to see was alright, i liked it decently enough but i loathed the master bathroom. it had a tiny shower, so small there would be no way i could shave my legs. and the backyard was really tiny but the front yard was huge. the kitchen was huge! it would have been the perfect place for the rat cage, but yeah, she shower was a deal breaker.
afterwards we had some time to kill before we were to see the next house so we went to a mall nearby to eat some lunch. i hade a grilled stuffed burrito at taco bell and of course made a mess of myself.
let me first say that becasue im happy about it and am talking about it i wont be getting this house, soemthing will go wrong as is usual with my rotten luck.
as soon as we got to the second house i was in love with it. we all got such a good vibe from it and the back yard was HUGE! the garage had been turned into a rec room and there were 2 sheds in the backyard, one had air conditioning. it had 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. 1.5 bathrooms was in the master bedroom which had a door that led to the backyard. also it has a pool! though when we have kids im amking a rule that at least 2 adults in the house must take a cpr class and an adult must watch the kids at all times when playing in the yard. there was even a room that would be perfect for the rats, its a tiny little room off to itself and is the perfect size and has nothing that could get the boys into trouble. also the master bedroom has 2 closets. im hoping to put a rack system for most of the reptiles in one. i have no idea where ethen and ellie will go since both of them have 40gal sized enclosures but we will figure something out.

Wishes do Come True!
so right now we are in the middle of a norestern, a nasty storm. well last night the power went out and we finally got to use our generator. usualy as soon as we set it all up the power will come back on, well not last night. around 10pm we shut it off and went to bed.
i didnt bother feeding any of my fish or reptiles because i didnt want to leave food rotting in their gut since they didnt have any heat to digest their dinner. my babies were not happy about it, i got a bunch of dirty looks from everyone, especially ethen. the demon fish didnt seem to notice, maybe someone stuck a finger in the tank and she ate that.
well as soon as 11:11pm rolled around my sister wished that the power would come back on. at 11:12pm her wish came true. we were so amazed!
and ive also learned that dogs do not like being alone when the power is out. our german shepherd mix was terrified and would not let herself be alone, she was like glue all yesterday. kala the toy poodle was doing about as fine as a small dog can. for once kala was braver than bear.
on another note im feeling better today, but at this rate i wont be staying the night at the fiance's house, in fact he will be lucky if i even see him tomorrow. im still not better and im not well enough where i want to leave the house. at the moment im still classified as a mouth breather.
ive also got myself a survival pack that ive been carrying with me around the house. ive got a roll of toilet paper and a plastic bag for trash. my nose hurts from blowing it so much and my lips are badly chapped and i cant go to walgreens to get more chapstick.

first post
hello internet. this is my first blog in years. well ive had the swine flu all weekend, hurray for me. i miss the fiance and havent been able to see him because of my wonderful little flu. um, not alot going on but there is a bad storm outside right now. we are in the middle of a norestern and it still has a few days left to go.
